Academic Advisory Council
The Academic Advisory Council of the Saxony International School - Carla Hahn non-profit organisation was founded on the 14th June 2012 in Berlin. Leading representatives of education, economy, science, politics, marketing , finances, law and public relations are members of the council.
The managing director of the voluntary council is Mrs Dr. med. Carina Pilling, public health officer in the region of Zwickau.
The chairman of the council is Mr Matthias Wissmann, the president of the Association of the German Automotive Industry (VDA) and former federal minister of transport and former federal minister of research.
The council will support and counsel the management of the SIS regarding conceptual, organisational, judicial and economical aspects. The focus of its work will be to develop the collaboration with companies, institutions and to create a national and international network of partners. In addition, an important part of the work of the council will be to find sponsors and promotional programmes as well as to establish professional public relations and to acquire common goals and structures of future projects.
We would like to thank all members of the council for their support and collaboration. We are looking forward to increase the quality of our educational work considerably with the help of the council.
