First aid training in the 2nd grades

After the winter break, our second classes started the next school semester with a first aid workshop.

With the hedgehog from the plaster pass and his friends, the children learned in a playful way what to do in the event of minor wounds and major injuries. The pupils demonstrated a great deal of prior knowledge about emergency numbers, but also about the correct behavior in an emergency.

The pupils particularly enjoyed the practical exercises such as bandaging a finger with a plaster or applying a bandage to a knee or head. Since then, the stable lateral position has sometimes been practiced in after-school care. At the end of the workshop, the children were proud to take their own plaster pass home with them to show that "I can help too", in keeping with the motto of the plaster pass.
