Our celebration week - 10 years IPS

10 YEARS IPS! - A reason to celebrate! A decade ago the dream started to build a school which is not only a place of learning but also of community and growth.

Today, we can proudly say that we have achieved this goal together. We have accompanied many students on their educational path so far and laid the foundations for a successful future with heart and dedication. Of course, our success would not have been possible without the active support of our parents, our management, our sponsor, the mayor, as well as the city of Stollberg. The 10th anniversary of our IPS is a milestone that we look back on with joy and gratitude. At the same time, it is also an occasion to look to the future. We are determined to continue to provide a vibrant, inspiring and supportive learning environment where our students can discover and develop their talents. We look forward to the years ahead as we work together to achieve new goals and continue to lay the foundation for successful life journeys for our students.

10 years of IPS were of course also an occasion for us to celebrate! From 25.09.2023 to 29.09.2023 our celebration week took place. It started on Monday with our Bad Button Day. For example, there was a fun memory game for the kids to solve. The IPS teachers and educators in the Bad-Taste outfit are not so easy to recognize. On Tuesday, wellness was the order of the day. Signing to music, relaxing under the stars, reading a book in peace, relaxing while coloring a mandala, chilling with a foot bath or a face mask - the IPS was a real wellness oasis. Back-in-time was the name of the game on Wednesday. What was my grandmother's school day like? And what great crafts are our grandpas good at? That's what our children learned on this day. A great-grandpa showed how to carve and a grandma told about her job as a porcelain painter. Other grandparents told about their school days & even brought nibbles from back then. Some children wrote with a quill & tried once the Kurrentschrift. There were also many old treasures to admire - report cards, leather satchels, pencil cases, coffee grinders, cameras & much more. We also had a lot of visitors on Thursday. For the career day, many great parents came by and presented their profession. A soldier, doctors, craftsmen, educators and many more professions were presented to the kids on this day. At the end of the week it was party time! Glow-in-the-dark disco, cocktail lounge, photo box fun, snack station, cool balloon figures, wild salsa rhythms - what a great, colorful finale! Special highlight was our guests visiting & releasing wish balloons together! We also buried a time capsule together. So then, here's to the next wonderful 10 years.
