Holiday Time is Greenhorn Camp Time

This year this took place in the low-lying Sayda in the Ore Mountains. Full of anticipation we started our tour on Monday morning. After arriving at our destination, we checked into our rooms and had lunch. After that we started our 1st adventure. We walked through the forest past a small pond to our destination, the so-called "Kleines Vorwerk". A beautifully designed place with a restaurant and a spacious outdoor area. There we got an insight into the world of the dark bees. Mr. Reuter explained us everything about the Urbiene and led us over the whole area. In the following days we made trips to Seiffen to an adventure playground with a summer toboggan run, visited the open-air museum and let our marbles roll on the many marble runs. We had a lot of sports activities, such as a visit to the open-air swimming pool, bowling at the youth hostel and the Nonsense Olympics. A campfire with stick bread and a disco at the end of the week were also part of the program. How quickly such a week passes. As soon as we arrived at the youth hostel on Friday, it was time to pack our bags, tidy up our rooms and start the return journey.

The youth hostel Sayda has left nothing to be desired. Whether it was the many offers, which were organized for us, the delicious food and the friendly staff, which is with heart. We will come again with great certainty.

Now we are already looking forward to the next Greenhorn camp in autumn. Be curious, we will report.
